Have you noticed the double standard in the way that women and men teachers are treated when they sleep with their students?
Do you feel that female teachers are treated differently than male teachers in those circumstances?

Great question. I definitely think that there is a double standard and even the physchologist chatting here mentions how there is a "locker room bravadoi- what is he complaining about?" when the issue is male student/ female teacher. I also think that society in general is harder on a male teacher who abuses a female student. Somehow it is viewed as less exceptable when, no matter the sex of the student or the perpetrator, both are suffering from abuse.
